Owen Rees and the Choir of The Queen’s College, Oxford, take as their theme for this new CD the idea of ‘revelation’, both divine (i.e. the apocalyptic visions of the Book of Revelation) and revelatory visions of heaven and earth. The programme of fourteen 20th- and 21st-century pieces ranges from three commissions (from Phillip Cooke, Toby Young and Marco Galvani) and works by major contemporary figures such as James MacMillan and Gabriel Jackson to the inclusion of such established repertoire by W.H.
