Two groups of people will need no encouragement to buy this performance on DVD or Blu-ray: those who have been following Abbado’s revelatory Mahler cycle filmed by EuroArts (and latterly Accentus); and those who heard these musicians bring the work to the Royal Festival Hall last year.
