“I find Van Parys to be one of the most interesting contemporary European composers, and when history looks back on this period, I am sure that she will be ranked among the foremost composers of our time. Her music presents an astonishing beauty both in orchestration and melodic lines, as well as innovative structure and a strong sense of dramaturgy; a uniquely individual artistic voice is always shining through her music.” — Marit Strindlund (conductor)
