Johann Sebastian Bach’s harpsichord matches hardly need any introduction, as they have been so well known, studied and performed over time. Precisely for this reason a new recording on their original instrument, the harpsichord, always has a return character and a rediscovery of their authentic sound. The harpsichordist Francesca Lanfranco develops her own personal research in these works which, while attentive to historical practice, underlines the constant novelty of these works with her style and her touch of the instrument.
