This is the 2nd CD of my project which consist of recording of all the chamber music pieces with soloistic instrumental parts for which Brahms has made viola versions. The first CD released in September 2025 included the Horn trio (op. 40) and two Clarinet Sonatas (Op. 121). The motivation for this project has been commemorating the death of the composer (125 years in 2022) as well as his birth (190 years in 2023). I hope this recording would become a worthy addition to your CD library and would help to rediscover these masterpieces from a different perspective.
