Cappella Civica di Trieste established in 1538, one of the centuries-old organisations of the Cappelle Musicali. The music is designed for the Eucharistic celebration of the Roman Catholic rite. Most of the programme was originally scored for choir and organ but the conductor of Gruppo Incontro, Rita Susovsky, has added strings to the originals. Radole’s works might be regarded as safe, and although adequate for the rite, his music benefits from the competent singing of the choir.
