Clariloqui – José Daniel Cirigliano

In this album Cirigliano faces an arduous challenge, that of restoring in one fell swoop the innumerable nuances of an instrument as rich in tonal possibilities as the clarinet. It does so by going through the latter part of the twentieth century and also showing its versatility by performing the various works on the numerous – if not all – cuts of the instrument, including the now well-known bass clarinet and returning in what is considered a great work and a true manual of the modern clarinet, taken in all its contemporary meanings and nuances.
