Debussy: La Cathedrale Transfiguree – Ivano Leva

On the occasion of the celebrations dedicated to Claude Debussy, the pianist Ivano Leva and the oboist Marika Lombardi pay homage to one of the most important French composers and a point of reference for the musical turning point of the twentieth century in a way as unusual as it is fascinating. Equipped with a unique musical character, the two musicians launch into a series of improvisations on the famous prelude La Caghedrale Anglotie (The submerged cathedral), transfiguring the piece into 9 wonderful pieces that literally arise during each listening.
