After six years, Pascal Rogé reaches the final volume of his Debussy cycle, joined by his wife Ami for the two-piano and four-hand works. This considered approach certainly pays off, even in comparison with Rogé’s excellent Decca recordings. Here there is spaciousness, an evocation of colour and character, a seemingly effortless precision in the duo works that put this in the front rank of Debussy.
