The most comprehensive set ever dedicated to the music of a neglected Italian Romantic, reissuing modern performances which have been recognised for their sensitivity and dynamism. In previous Fanfare magazine reviews, it was noted that ‘Gaia Federica Caporiccio plays with a winsome freshness.’ ‘Caramiello’s performance is more ruminative, less frenetic… this is highly recommended.’ In reviewing the chamber music: ‘I find Brilliant’s newer recording much more to my liking.’
