The pianist Marios Panteliadis presents us with this disc an often less well-known Beethoven, that of the piano compositions of smaller and more contained form, compared to the sonatas and no less fundamental for understanding the spirit of the composer who in the Bagatelle as well as in the Rondò allowed himself those brief flashes of pause between the great symphonies and compositions that would have made him immortal in the history of music.
