Beethoven is an author who, although extremely well known and celebrated in his major works, still has numerous works in his production that need a closer look. Among these are certainly the numerous compositions that he himself adapted for another ensemble or of which he officially approved the arrangement or transcription. The group composed of the violinist Eva Bindere, the violist Vladimir Mendelssohn, the cellist Damiano Scarpa, the clarinetist Nicola Bulfone and the pianist Andrea Rucli offer with this record an intense and passionate look at the Trio with clarinet Op. 38 (arranged by the author from Sepet Op. 20) and the Quartet with piano and strings Op. 16 (from the well-known Quintet with the same opus with piano and winds).
