Bruckner : Symphonie N° 6 – Barenboim

Continuing his series of the later Bruckner symphonies, Barenboim and his remarkable orchestra reach the sixth in what is almost a complete success. His is a typically large-scale reading, and benefits from the glorious brass and sumptuous strings (those violas!) familiar to Proms listeners last year.
