Debora’s Canary – Debora Rosti

I loved every creative moment of this project which involved many amazing musicians and friends. The best part was having the chance to compare my musical ideas with theirs and try to interpret what they had written for me. Some of these pieces were conceived expressly for me and giving them life was a particularly precious artistic result; the music was imagined thinking about my sound, for my way of being a musician and through the performance it reaches its full realization. It was also my intention to try to expand the little boy’s repertoire by encouraging the composition of new works. This initiative was embraced in particular by Gian Paolo and Fabio Luppi, who have donated new and important gems to our literature. Debora Rosti
