Norwegian folk/prog collective Lumsk returns with Einsemda, a dark, atmospheric album based on poems by Tor Jonsson (1916–1951). Following their acclaimed comeback with Fremmede Toner, the band deepens their signature blend of progressive metal, folk rock, and Nordic storytelling to mirror the emotional intensity, beauty, and stark contrasts of Jonsson’s verse. Recorded in home studios and Autumnsongs Recording Studio, and produced with Rhys Marsh, Espen W. Godø, and Espen Hammer, the record captures both the intimate nerve and cinematic weight of the poetry.
