Ghilarducci / Nanni / Riggi: Fluendo, New Music For Piano 4-Hands – Duo Nuages

Flowing into music is the very essence of the listening experience. Without this action it would not be possible to enjoy this art, just as the basis of pleasure and enjoyment that drives the need would fail. The Duo Nuages, composed by Cristina Donnini and Scilla Lenzi, proposes a title with the evocative title “Fluendo” which is based precisely on a concept of constant flow of harmonies and sound colors, which finds life in three compositions by Roberto Ghilarducci (Matamorphosis) , Stefano Nanni (Rapsodia d’Autunno) and Giacomo Riggi (Playing Linked), authors who are not new to the world of records but who present their works as a world premiere in this project. The three authors each propose a different idea of ​​musical flow, united by shared aesthetic factors and a single awareness that allows us to perceive the work as strongly unitary. A unity that springs also and above all from the work that the Duo himself does on each of the pieces, giving shape and expression to each page and showing the peculiar ability of the performers to penetrate deeply to the heart of the chosen works, showing how contemporary music, to the beyond any aesthetic judgment, it is still capable of bringing emotion and strength to the contemporary world.
