Among the many tools that history has forgotten and is now rediscovering there is certainly baryton. Instrument loved by the members of Esterhazy and for whose passion we owe a large part of the musical production of J. Haydn who did his utmost to write new music. His life in the eighteenth century was not limited to the court alone, however, there were many composers who were fascinated by his almost hypnotic sound, able to evoke completely unknown worlds, including Tomasini who was able to dedicate some significant works to him and which are in this record , curated by Francesca Venturi Ferriolo, gathered in a single project, assisted by Patxi Montero, today among the greatest interpreters of baryton, and the cellist Giorgio Casati.
