Night and day, brother and sister, eternally linked and eternally divided, destined to chase each other for eternity as a source in constant balance of light and darkness. A delicate balance such as that constituted by the Spanish duo Icaros consisting of Alfonso Padilla, saxophone and Alberto Plaza, guitar, which offer us an impressive insight into contemporary production in the Iberian Peninsula for this formation. So here are compositions of various origins by Baez Cervantes, Flores, Humet, Martin Quintero, Sanchez Verdu which, despite the stylistic difference, constitute a unique corpus in this disc that wisely balances precisely those numerous elements that in the course of music continuously they follow and chase each other.
