Two pieces by Boghos Gelalian are featured: Tre Circli, a mix of circular form and Armenian rhythm; and the fetching Canzon e Toccata. Georges Baz’ Esquisses are influenced by French music, while Toufic Succar’s delicious Variations sur un Theme Oriental takes a jaunty Palestinian song and plays with it beautifully.
