Nocturne, Harp Suite From 1948 To 1988 – Anna Castellar

Anna Castellari, here at her recording debut, proposes a project completely centered on the shape of the historic 20th century harp suite, retracing an absolute masterpiece like that of Britten and Chertok and rediscovering the works of other authors such as Watkins, Maros and Mathias. The interpreter shows in each composition the profound knowledge of the instrument and its technique, underlining the intrinsic novelty characters in each work, which in turn becomes a single piece of a larger mosaic that constitutes the history of this instrument in the twentieth century.
