With Passage, her debut solo album, the Georgian pianist Salomé Jordania (née 1996) presents a spiritual and vertiginous journey by way of the music of Franz Liszt, Alexander Scriabin and Kaija Saariaho. Moving between mysticism, darkness and the quest for transcendence, she explores the obscurity and radience of the human soul through a programme of rare intensity, conceived as a true inner odyssey.
