Pilgrimage: Manos Hadjidakis From The Diaspora – Pano Hora Ensemble

A composer halfway between cinema, literature, ethnomusicological and folkloric research, Manos Hadjidakis was a Greek composer as multifaceted as he was constantly linked to his homeland. Charles Calomiris reconstructs its music and staff, in collaboration with the Pana Hora Ensemble, and brings it back to life in this album with the evocative title “Pilgrimage” which retraces its steps, words and music in an exciting journey made of sounds, sensations and suggestions.
