We continue to present Hildur Gudnadóttir’s catalogue with her album ‘Without Sinking’, now available on DG. Recorded in Berlin during the summer of 2008, it was inspired by the many flights she’d taken in the previous couple of years, and the long hours she’d spend watching the clouds while airborne. “I wanted to create music that was both spacious and dense. Still and moving at the same time. Like being above the weather.”
