Armaroli: Intrasparenza, Chamber Music And Solo – Eduard Pohossov

Sergio Armaroli is certainly considered one of the most important musicians on the contemporary scene. Unreachable interpreter in turn, this monographic record gives us some of his most important chamber masterpieces by offering a look at his compositional production that is no less than the many composers he has found himself interpreting during his long career. The musicians who take part in this composite project are of the highest level, such as Irvine Arditti who lends his violin to the song Cave Carmen or Eriko Sumi, violin and Heidemarie Wiesner, baritone who in Ballade von den Salbsthelfern offer us one of the absolute most lyrical and intimate of the author. A record that not only reveals Armaroli’s innate genius as a creator, but that adds an important piece to the history of contemporary music.
