Biscione / Cara / Coggiola: Music For Dummies – Achrome Ensemble

Together again in this second volume, the trio of composers composed of Federico Biscione, Alberto Cara and Paolo Coggiola continues their very personal path of sound research, this time assisted by an ensemble of absolute value such as Achrome. Music for Dummies, a title that takes its cue from Alberto Cara’s Concertino present in the disc, is the amused and ironic expression of a group of “dummies” and it will be up to the listener to define who controls who, if the three authors are holding the ranks or if, conversely, it is the musicians who use the composers for their purposes, moving their music. Obviously, the symbiosis of these two elements once again creates a listening experience in unique contemporary music, which, departing from many of the languages of the past, gives way to the continuous invention and (re) creation of a world in constant motion like the musical one.
