Christian Flor (1626-1697) was a German Baroque composer and organist whose work reflects the stylistic transition between early and high Baroque music in northern Europe. Although not as widely known today as some of his contempo-raries, Flor held important musical positions during his lifetime, serving as an organist and contributing to the rich liturgical and instrumental traditions of 17th-century Germany.
