Gilbert & Sullivan: HMS Pinafore – Scottish Opera / Egarr
H.M.S. Pinafore (Operette in 2 Akten) (Gesamtaufnahme)
Overture (1. Akt)
We sail the ocean blue
Hail, men-o’-war’s men
But, tell me
The nightingale sighed
My gallant crew, good morning
Sir, you are sad!
Sorry her lot
Over the bright blue sea
We sail the ocean blue
I am the monarch of the sea
When I was a lad
For I hold that on the seas
A British tar
Refrain, audacious tar
Can I survive this overbearing
Entr’acte (2. Akt)
Fair moon, to thee I sing
Things are seldom what they seem
The hours creep on apace
Never mind the why and wherefore
Kind Captain
Carefully on tiptoe stealing
Pretty daughter of mine
Farewell, my own
A many years ago
Oh joy, oh rapture unforeseen
