Giovanni Damiani: Chamber Works – Zephir Ensemble

Giovanni Damiani is a composer who escapes a precise cataloging in the vast world of contemporary art and who hardly lets himself be pigeon-holed in easy pre-established musical boxes. Attentive to the structure as much as to the theatrical world, the songs on this album make use of top-level interpreters such as the Zephir Ensemble and the Prometeo Ensemble by Marco Angius who are well able to capture the unique poetics of the author, intent on building structures of sounds and architectures that unfold on listening with almost dreamy constancy.
