Joplin: Ragtime Sensation – Trio Entree

One of the first great American composers, even before Geroge Gershwin imposed his vision of concert jazz, Scott Joplin redefined the concept of Ragtime at the end of the 19th century, entering the common imagination with some melodies that made him famous all over the world for the joy and quality of his music which, in the genre, remained unmatched.
To propose a new version of the music are the Trio Entrée, conducted by the pianist Oscar Del Barba, who rearranges some of the most famous pieces by adding trumpet and trombone. The effect is not only disruptive but further enhances the spirit of the music, to the point of transcending the genre itself
