Muratore: Alias, Amor – Valerio Losito

It is difficult to define the Alias, Amor project in a few sentences, even more difficult to define it using many of them. In fact, both the music and the record do not lend themselves to easy explanations but live in the essence that constitutes asemantic music by definition where the word has no dominion and only the sound remains to define and regulate the world. Valerio Losito, unforgettable Baroque interpreter, here puts his art at the complete service of the music of Elvira Muratore who in choosing the viola d’amore alone as the recipient instrument of his thought immediately makes clear the intent of the work that spans centuries , worlds, places and in some moments eras, belonging to all and none. Lastly, Federica Cocciro completes with her photographic-pictorial work a disc that only in short literary and image references allows you to take possession of her most intimate spirit but which overwhelmingly sends every possible possibility of dialogue to listening and therefore to music.
