Private Pattering Project addresses three micro topics such as dust, noise and crumbs and positions themselves between the visible and the invisible, between the audible and the unheard.
The compositions are a point of view in which it converges pure sound on a base of sound objects, an archive of low or hi-fi samples, electronic or acoustic, objectsand “intonarumori”, a cut and paste reorganized by Gianluca Codeghini in more than thirty years of recordings. The trumpet and live electronics dialogue by creating an impromptu narrative structure.
DUST
Dust is far too orderly and obeys far simpler and more homogeneous sound than it would need to
NOISE
Too much noise is simply entropic and destructive, but it’s never enough
CRUMBS
The crumbs are the scrapings and shavings of an argument, cut up into little bits.
