Savoretti / Mina: Branch Out – Francesco Savoretti

For Fabio Mina and Francesco Savoretti, protagonists of this record, the term “threshold” means the boundary of a new artistic language, which partly addresses tradition but also goes beyond, approaching other styles and methods of performance. Thanks to their desire to enrich their artistic language with the contamination between traditional sounds and electronics, the album represents an interesting fusion between genres, between improvisation and composition. The originality of the disc is completed by various insertions of sound samples, collected in the mountain communities of the Apennines.
