Domenico Scarlatti and his incomparable sonatas are proposed here in a “baroque” performance by Giorgio Dellarole on the accordion. Baroque in that the proposed sonatas follow the philological criterion of the critical edition of reference, endorsed by Emilia Fadini herself. For the musician these are “sonatas of fulfillment” of a journey that began a long time ago and which finally reach full interpretative maturity. An exciting and in some respects enlightening listening where the instrument becomes a sound body capable of rivaling organ and harpsichord. Some might say a hybrid experiment, others might say an exceptional reinterpretation of these masterpieces, accompanied by the notes of Pinuccia Carrer.
