The Clarinet is perhaps one of the instruments that the twentieth century has by far the most explored and technically developed, therefore it is not surprising that many virtuosos of this instrument, in addition to grappling with what was the great repertoire that marked it, go further in this exploration, to search for an expansion of that limit which seems to have not yet been imposed and which, on the contrary, appears ever further away in every composition. A very distant horizon that the clarinetist Pietro Domenico Magri explores in all its extension by proposing the works of Scelsi, Donatoni, Berio and Bettinelli alongside works by Testi and Anzaghi and which add another piece to this continuous journey towards the exploration of sound.
